What they need
First round on-site interview is required. Remote after that.
Required skills:
- Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iseries platform, utilizing dynamic SQL, convert RPG code to sql stored procedures, performance tuning, logging and exception handling.
- Expert SQL stored procedures, development experience in db2 IBM iseries platform. Please note that this is a MUST. Embedded SQL and RPG experience is not a fit.
- Able to read RPGIV, RPGLE, RPGFree programs, embedded SQL
- Conversion/modernization experience from RPG to SQL stored procedures in db2
- IBM tools such as Aldon, RDI, ACS etc
- Application development experience interacting with front end using REST APIs, Json
- exposure to python, microservices, VS code IDE development
- git source control and integration
