Role & responsibilities
Provide operational support for IBM Db2 UDB databases (Prod & NonProd)
- Perform Db2 installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching
- Monitor performance, capacity, and availability; proactively resolve issues
- Manage backup, restore, recovery, and DR readiness (including HADR)
- Conduct rootcause analysis and drive preventive improvements
- Implement and support data masking solutions for sensitive data
- Design and manage data archiving strategies aligned with retention policies
