About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to join a growing data team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise data platforms. This role will focus heavily on database schema design, data modelling, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain database schemas and data models across enterprise data platforms.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance through validation and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to deliver data solutions.
• Support reporting, compliance, and business-critical data initiatives.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across data workflows and processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Database Development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with database schema design and data modelling.
• Proven experience gathering requirements and translating business objectives into technical solutions.
• Financial Services, Banking, or Capital Markets experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with a solid understanding of ETL workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Mandarin or Cantonese communication skills
