DBT Therapist

DBT Psychology Clinic is well established and highly respected private practice, located in Potts Point, NSW. We are looking to hire part-time casual clinicians (clinical psychologists, psychologists, mental health social workers, occupational therapists) to work as part of a comprehensive and adherent DBT outpatient program.

DBT Psychology Clinic is dedicated to providing high quality, research-supported DBT treatment for adults and teenagers with borderline personality disorder/traits as well as other clinical conditions caused by emotion dysregulation.

Primary job requirements include providing individual DBT therapy, leading/co-leading DBT Skills Training group, phone coaching between sessions, and attending consultation team on Thursday afternoon. Time is allocated for clinical note keeping and preparation for groups.

Previous experience in DBT is a must. Those who completed the Intensive DBT Training at the Behavioural Tech. will be given preferences.

The position is casual part-time, with potential to increase hours based on mutual interest. Pay rate is on par with public mental health services.

In addition to serving as a member of the DBT team, there are opportunities to develop your own private practice at the same premises.
