DC - Assistant Building Maintenance Manager

• Lead and oversee all building facilities operations, maintenance activities, and infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, water supply, power distribution, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and standards related to facilities management and maintenance.
• Plan, evaluate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.
• Manage maintenance schedules, repair activities, contractor services, and project implementation.
• Monitor facility performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization.
• Manages utility ensuring cleanliness of the distribution center.
• Ensure scraps are being disposed and loaded properly.
• Monitors pallet and ensure pallets are being repaired efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental requirements, and 5S practices.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports, maintenance records, OPEX reports, and other management reports.
• Evaluate team performance and recommend initiatives to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Job qualifications:

• Graduate of a Vocational course, preferably in a technical field such as Mechanical and Electrical
• With relevant experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or property operations.
• Knowledgeable in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and other building systems.
• With experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and coordination with contractors and service providers.
• Able to supervise maintenance personnel and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willing to work on-site and handle shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays as required.
