DCM execution & Syndicate

About the role

This role involves originating, structuring, and executing DCM transactions including investment-grade, high-yield, and perpetuals for corporate, financial institution, and sovereign clients. You will drive the syndicate process in cooperation with global coordinators, joint bookrunners, and selling group members, optimizing order book quality and price discovery within the current supervisory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and execute DCM transactions including investment-grade, high-yield, perpetuals for corporate, financial institution, and sovereign clients
• Drive the syndicate process cooperate with global coordinators, joint bookrunners, and selling group members, optimize order book quality and price discovery in current supervisory framework
• Lead execution work streams from kick-off through closing: coordinate due diligence, rating agency engagement, roadshows, bookbuilding, pricing, allocation, and settlement
• Work closely with Investment team, Sales and trading group, Legal & Compliance, and Operations to ensure seamless deal flow and regulatory adherence
• Cultivate and deepen relationships with Group companies and potential issuers
• Provide real-time market intelligence, credit analysis, and pricing recommendations to both internal teams and issuer clients
• Ensure full compliance with SFC Code of Conduct (especially Paragraph 21), HKMA guidelines (if applicable), and the firm's internal conflict-of-interest and allocation policies

About you

• Bachelor's or higher degree
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in DCM (execution and syndicate desk preferred), within a reputable investment bank, securities house, or commercial bank
• Proven track record of executing cross-border bond issuances (USD, CNH, HKD) with hands-on syndicate responsibilities
• Holder of SF Type 184 license
• Deep understanding of bond documentation (subscription agreement, offering circular, trust deed) and market conventions (ICMA, HKMA, CMU)
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills, able to handle multiple live deals under tight timelines
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (Cantonese preferred but not mandatory)
