DCS Operator

About the role

Central control room zone monitoring position. Operators are assigned by screen area to perform sequence control monitoring, alarm handling, and parameter adjustment (one wet section chief operator, one dry section & utilities chief operator, and one packaging chief operator per shift).

Key responsibilities

• Execute startup, monitoring, and normal shutdown of SFC sequence control in the assigned area; confirm sequence steps and interlock status
• Monitor DCS screen process parameters, promptly confirm and handle alarms, adjust operating parameters within authority, and record actions
• Execute application, operation, and restoration of interlock removal and reset, strictly complying with authority management
• Coordinate with field inspection positions to complete confirmation and trial runs of remote valve positions and equipment start/stop
• Record shift operation logs, alarm records, and abnormal handling processes; ensure complete handover at shift change
• Participate in DCS alarm management, sequence control logic optimization suggestions, and training assessments such as black-screen drills

About you

• College diploma or above, major in chemical engineering or automation
• More than 2 years of DCS operation experience; must pass DCS operation and interlock logic on-the-job assessment
• Familiar with SFC sequence control processes and interlock protection logic; capable of tiered alarm handling
• Ability to operate English interfaces
