Dealer Level 2

Under the direct supervision of the Gaming Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

• Deals tables games (Poker, Roulette)
• Maintains the security of the table and its float
• Controls the table in the correct order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time
• Refers disputes, irregularities or suspicious activities to the Manager
• Verifies chip refills and credits
• Tidies workstation and pit area
• Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
• Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service
• Experience dealing Poker and/or Roulette is an asset
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, graveyards and holidays
• Strong mathematical skills
• Ability to successfully obtain Serving It Right certification
• Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming Worker License

Work Environment Considerations

• Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours.
