KBT Debt Collection is looking for results-driven Debt Collection Agents to join our Pretoria team. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting customers and businesses to recover overdue payments and negotiate suitable payment arrangements. You will play a key part in achieving collection targets while upholding company policy and South African debt collection legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debtor communications
• Provide professional customer service when handling objections and payment disputes
• Meet individual and team targets for debt recovery and call quality
• Adhere to all company policies and South African debt collection regulations
• Collaborate with management to continuously improve collection strategies and processes

Requirements

• Swordfish system experience — non-negotiable
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a debt collection environment
• Matric certificate (minimum qualification)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Excellent problem-solving ability and high attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with debt collection software is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of South African debt collection legislation
• Professional demeanour and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving goals

Pay: R4 500,00 - R5 000,00 per month
