Debt Resolution Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers with overdue banking accounts, including credit cards, personal loans, hire purchase and other banking facilities.
• Negotiate repayment plans, partial payments and settlement arrangements within the approved guidelines.
• Follow up on outstanding balances and promised payments to achieve monthly collection targets.
• Understand customers' financial situations and recommend appropriate repayment solutions.
• Handle customer enquiries, objections and payment-related discussions professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, customer feedback, payment commitments and account updates in the collection management system.
• Meet individual collection targets, productivity KPIs and performance standards.
• Escalate disputes, complaints and special settlement requests to the Team Leader when necessary.
• Comply with company policies, client requirements, PDPA and applicable debt collection regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect customers' personal and financial information.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant training will be provided.
• Experience in debt collection, banking, credit control, telesales or customer service is an advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Confident in communicating with customers over the telephone.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, persistent and results-oriented.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
