Debug/Test Engineer (Fresh E&E or Experience with PCBA)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in new product development to ensure testability is designed into new products.
• Manage NPI (New Product Introduction) cycles, ensuring test processes are optimized for seamless production transition.
• Determine the test process and develop test specifications and procedures.
• Generate test programs and fixtures for production testing.
• Diagnose and resolve complex failures in PCBA and HLA units to maintain high testing standards.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for RMA units, ensuring robust root cause analysis.
• Support production by providing on-going technical support including debug WIP clearance.
• Execute Engineering Changes (EC) related to test processes and equipment.
• Responsible of test yield improvement and test equipment maintenance.
• Oversee equipment installation, validation and change management to ensure operational excellence.
• Identify and implement best practices globally to streamline testing workflows.
• Support test quote requests based on RFQ process.
• Lead Kaizen projects and provide technical guidance to the production team.
• Adhere to global SOPs and work instruction.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Good knowledge in In-Circuit-Tester and Flying Probe are much preferred. Knowledgeable on RF testing / RF equipment and networking products will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge in Functional and System Level testing are much preferred.
• Able to be part of a cross-functional team in problem solving and resolution of operations issues effectively.
• Strong oral and written communication skills Skilled writing and execution on Tester Validation Report Must be independent and self-motivated.
