DeckNova builds custom decks, railings, pergolas, and composite/PVC outdoor living spaces across Salt Lake and Utah County. We're growing fast and we need a sales rep who wants to make serious money and isn't afraid to work for it.

This isn't a job for someone who wants to sit back and wait for the phone to ring. It's for someone who loves the chase, hates losing a deal, and wants their paycheck tied directly to how hard they hustle.

What you'll be doing

You'll own the full sales cycle from first contact to signed contract. A good chunk of your leads will come in hot from our paid ad campaigns, so speed matters: you'll call those inbound leads fast and book appointments before they go cold. From there, you'll meet homeowners in person to walk their space and understand what they want, then build custom quotes for each project. You'll also generate your own pipeline by knocking doors in neighborhoods around our active jobs and cold calling leads. On top of that, you'll be expected to keep sharpening your game by practicing communication, objection handling, and closing techniques. The best reps never stop getting better.

What we're looking for

You have a proven track record selling home improvement services. Decks, fencing, roofing, siding, solar, windows, or landscaping all count, and deck experience is a big plus. You're comfortable in front of homeowners, confident on the phone, and you don't flinch at a door slam. You can read a backyard, ask the right questions, and put together an accurate quote. You're self-motivated, organized, and you follow up relentlessly. You need reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work evenings and some Saturdays when homeowners are available.

What you'll earn

This is a commission-based, independent contractor role with no cap on earnings. You earn 7% of every job you close, plus 50% of everything you sell above our standard price. Sell a $22,000 deck at $24,000 and you take home $2,540 on that one job. Commission is paid in full when the project is complete, regardless of how or when the customer pays. The more you close and the better you sell, the more you make.
