Deck/Stew 30m Race program

A 30m performance sailing yacht is seeking a Deck/Stew to join an exciting and highly professional racing program.

With eight regattas planned throughout 2027, this is a unique opportunity to become part of a program that operates more like a professional sailing team than a traditional superyacht. The role is predominantly shore-based, supporting the full-time crew and wider race team throughout the regatta circuit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after the owners, managing uniforms, assisting with yacht maintenance and coordinating food and drinks for the crew during regattas and shore-based activities. This will involve organising catering arrangements, provisioning and general logistics, rather than cooking, as the program has a dedicated shore-based Chef for regattas.

Depending on experience, there will also be opportunities to assist with deliveries, so a strong sailing background is essential. They are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys sailing and understands the demands of a professional racing program, rather than someone coming from a purely interior-focused superyacht background.

This is a hands-on position within a demanding performance sailing environment, so the ideal candidate will be resilient, practical and adaptable, with a positive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever needed. They should be comfortable working independently ashore, taking responsibility for their own tasks and supporting the team throughout a busy regatta schedule.

The role would particularly suit a female sailor with some yachting experience who enjoys the organisational and hospitality side of a program but is equally keen to be involved with sailing and deck operations.

Qualifications required: Strong sailing background, STCW, ENG1
