NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.
We have a vacancy available for the position of technician due to an expansion in our service activity. We require enthusiastic and hard working individuals to join our team who are responsible for providing a comprehensive reprocessing service for the decontamination of reusable medical devices for theatres, wards and clinics covering a range of specialities that include Orthopaedics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmic, Gynaecology and Urology.
Due to the unique service we provide, previous experience is not required as full training is provided, in house, over a period of one year.
A shift system is in place and that includes nightshift. You will be expected to be completely flexible in your hours of work to suit the needs of the service.
Previous applicants need not apply.
Interested parties are invited to contact Marc Mackay or David Mackay on 01463 705657 for further information. A tour of the facility is highly recommended so you can gain a better understanding on what our work is all about. Additional Information For Candidates Flexible Working
