Decor Associate

St. Nick's Christmas Lighting & Decor is looking for dependable and detail-oriented Decor Associates to join our seasonal production team.

This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position supporting the production of commercial holiday décor. Decor Associates work in a production environment creating, refurbishing, and preparing décor used in large-scale holiday displays installed throughout Southern California and beyond.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, staying focused on repetitive tasks, and taking pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, create, and refurbish holiday décor including wreaths, garlands, floral arrangements, ornaments, bows, and other seasonal pieces.
• Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Use basic hand tools such as pliers, wire cutters, glue guns, and measuring tools.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with materials.
• Follow production standards and instructions to ensure finished products meet quality expectations.
• Assist with additional décor production projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Enjoys hands-on work and repetitive production tasks.
• Comfortable sitting or standing in the same workstation for extended periods.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Able to use basic hand tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Previous experience with crafting, floral design, assembly, manufacturing, or production is a plus, but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Schedule

This is a temporary, seasonal full-time position.

• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Employees should expect to work approximately 40 hours per week during the season.
• Overtime may be available based on production needs.
