Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas, and specialized spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash disposal to maintain a spotless environment.
• Operate floor buffers and other floor care machinery to ensure high-quality buffing, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring surfaces.
• Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and manual handling procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct sanitation procedures in kitchens, bathrooms, and high-touch areas to promote hygiene and prevent contamination.

Experience

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and steam cleaners is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards is essential.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be considered an asset.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors.

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
