Duties

• Safely operate shuttle buses, passenger vans, or personal vehicles along predetermined local routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs
• Maintain a clean, well-maintained vehicle by performing routine inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing friendly assistance and answering questions about routes or schedules
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during every shift
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with mobility challenges or special needs
• Manage GPS navigation systems to follow the most efficient routes and handle any route adjustments as needed
• Document daily vehicle inspections, mileage logs, and incident reports accurately for compliance purposes

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, van driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles
• Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safety standards applicable to passenger transportation
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse clients professionally and courteously
• Ability to perform light manual handling tasks such as assisting passengers or loading small items when necessary
• Prior experience in client-focused driving roles is a plus
• Demonstrated reliability with a clean driving record and adherence to scheduled routes

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
