Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shuttle Driver to provide reliable, safe, and efficient transportation services for our clients and team members. As a Shuttle Driver, you will operate passenger vehicles, including shuttles and vans, along designated local routes. Your role is vital in ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle buses, vans, or passenger vehicles along predefined local routes, ensuring punctuality and safety.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during all driving activities.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation and safety standards are met.
• Use GPS navigation systems to follow assigned routes accurately while adjusting for traffic or road conditions as needed.
• Communicate effectively with passengers and clients regarding schedules, route changes, or delays to enhance their experience.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary for luggage or equipment while maintaining proper manual handling techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, van driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles such as shuttles or limousines.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with GPS navigation systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of local driving routes and familiarity with state transportation regulations is essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and clients.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently; experience with heavy lifting is a plus.
• Prior medical transportation or paratransit experience is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
