Overview

Join our dedicated team of professional drivers as a Dedicated Team Driver, where your expertise in commercial truck driving and logistics will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to work on consistent routes, primarily focusing on refrigerated trailers and automobile transportation, ensuring timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) routes. As a key player in our logistics network, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting freight while adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and specialized freight vehicles, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
• Drive over-the-road (OTR) routes consistently, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of freight across designated territories
• Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of hazardous materials or dangerous goods when applicable
• Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes, adjusting as needed for traffic or road conditions
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the freight transported (e.g., Hazmat endorsement if applicable)
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving on OTR routes
• Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling for hazardous materials or dangerous goods when necessary
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation equipment
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably and safely
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation practices
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance
• Physical ability to handle manual loading/unloading tasks and perform vehicle inspections effectively

TruCaliber is looking to build a strong, dependable CDL-A driving team for a dedicated route running between Blasdell NY and Toledo, Ohio.

Dedicated Route: Blasdell NY ↔ Toledo, OH Daily
Approximately 4,500 miles per week as a team
Monday–Friday
HOME EVERY WEEKEND
Full-time, consistent dedicated work

We’re looking for two professional, reliable CDL-A drivers who work well as a team and are ready to run approximately 4,500 miles per week while enjoying the stability of a dedicated lane and weekends at home.
