Duties

• Prepare a variety of deli foods including sandwiches, salads, cold cuts, and cheese platters with precision and care
• Serve customers efficiently while providing excellent customer service and upselling additional items to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area in accordance with food safety standards
• Restock shelves and display cases to ensure fresh products are always available for customers
• Assist with food safety procedures such as proper storage, labeling, and handling of perishable items
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with basic food preparation tasks as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is highly desirable
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in handling perishable goods
• Experience serving customers in a fast-paced environment enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory levels
• Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating comfort working with various food items
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell products confidently to boost sales and improve customer satisfaction
