In this role, you will assist with food preparation, manage customer orders efficiently, operate POS systems, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Typical schedule Tuesday to Friday from 7am to 3pm

Saturday 6am to 2pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble deli items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
• Assist customers with their food orders, answer questions about products, and recommend upselling options to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling stations, equipment, and workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Manage food service customer order management efficiently during busy periods, ensuring timely service.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including slicers, ovens, refrigerators, and other food preparation tools.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies, checking expiration dates, and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
• Requirements
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow health regulations diligently.
• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
