Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of deli foods including sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts with precision and attention to quality.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Manage customer orders with friendly service, upselling products to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and process cash handling securely.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation, including slicing machines, ovens, and refrigeration units
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service is highly preferred; restaurant or quick service experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, pricing, and inventory counting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving products as needed.
