Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble deli food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, upselling products to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling, equipment cleaning, and workspace organization.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling throughout shifts.
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about deli offerings, and provide friendly service to foster loyalty.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, warmers, and other food preparation tools, following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times.
• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
