Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of deli foods with precision and care, including slicing meats, cheeses, and other fresh ingredients.
• Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely fulfillment
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about deli items, and provide excellent customer service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and other food preparation tools.
• Process cash transactions accurately while handling cash register operations and cash handling responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles such as quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards in a retail or restaurant setting.
• Experience working in grocery stores or retail environments with a focus on customer service is advantageous.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace in accordance with health regulations.
