Duties

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Set up and maintain the deli line for daily service
• Slice, prep, and portion ingredients for service
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Communicate with team to ensure smooth service
• Assist with prep and restocking as needed
• Support catering orders and special event setups by preparing large quantities of menu items efficiently
• Serve customers promptly with friendly, professional service while explaining menu options when needed
• Execute opening, mid, and/or closing procedures with accuracy and care

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, deli, or line cook experience is a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers professionally
• Ability to take stairs

Schedule

• Daytime and evening shifts available
• Some morning shifts available as needed
• Flexible or set hours available
