Deli/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble deli items with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards
• Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling products to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, assisting with product selection, and ensuring satisfaction
• Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation and handle food with proper hygiene practices

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, or similar platforms
• Strong skills in retail math, basic math calculations, and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic attitude
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and operating kitchen equipment is highly desirable

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 48.0 per week
