Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices. items are moderately heavy to very heavy.
• Manage route efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for communication to optimize delivery schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including inventory management, moving items within the warehouse, and supporting warehouse staff.
• Ensure safety and compliance with heavy lifting and weight handling policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and delivery confirmations with the team.

Experience

• Previous experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated warehouse experience with manual handling, moving heavy loads, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with tools, training will be provided if needed.
• Knowledge safe lifting practices is essential for compliance and safety.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring route loading & unloading procedures, and adherence to safety standards.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
