Delivery Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Delivery Assistant to join us on a full-time basis. This is a key position within our logistics and delivery operations, based in the Taman Jurong West Region. As a Delivery Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and in excellent condition. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution network.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of food products and delivery vehicles in a safe and organised manner
• Accompanying delivery personnel on routes to facilitate the efficient delivery of products to customers
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule in accordance with delivery manifests
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of delivery vehicles and equipment
• Handling and storing food products in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Assisting with inventory checks and stock management at distribution points
• Providing friendly and professional customer service during deliveries
• Picking, recording delivery information and preparing necessary documentation
• Adhering to all health, safety and company procedures whilst on duty
• Ad-hoc duties as required

What we're looking for

• High school qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience in a delivery, logistics, or warehouse environment (preferred)
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry goods regularly, including heavy items
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of basic food handling and hygiene practices or willingness to learn
• Valid driving licence is an advantage, though not essential
• Ability to work flexibly, including early starts and occasional overtime as required
