Delivery Assistant or Cleaner

Duties

• Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and organizing goods to ensure timely deliveries
• Support the safe operation of delivery vans by helping with vehicle checks and basic maintenance tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles, storage areas, and workspaces to promote safety and hygiene standards
• Help with warehouse duties such as moving heavy items, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for dispatch
• Communicate effectively with team members and drivers to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
• Follow safety protocols during all activities, including proper lifting techniques and hazard awareness
• Support the team in completing documentation related to deliveries, pickups, and cleaning schedules

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Valid driver’s license with experience driving vans or commercial vehicles is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a regular basis
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and drivers
• Basic knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures for commercial vehicles
• Experience in cleaning or maintaining workspaces is a plus but not mandatory
• Willingness to work flexible hours in a physically active role
