Delivery Associate

Job Summary

Dash Delivery Inc is looking for a reliable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Delivery Associate to transport packages, orders, and materials to customers and designated locations. The ideal candidate will complete deliveries accurately and on time, handle packages carefully, follow assigned routes, maintain accurate delivery records, and provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles or assigned delivery vehicles.
• Pick up and deliver packages, orders, and materials according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, organize, and secure packages safely.
• Verify delivery addresses, package information, quantities, and customer orders.
• Use GPS, navigation systems, or mobile delivery applications to complete routes efficiently.
• Deliver packages accurately and within scheduled delivery windows.
• Obtain signatures, delivery confirmations, photos, or other required documentation.
• Handle packages carefully to prevent damage, loss, or misdelivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and electronic records.
• Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, customers, and receiving personnel as needed.
• Report delivery delays, damaged packages, vehicle problems, or other issues promptly.
• Perform basic vehicle safety checks before and after delivery routes.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and secure.
• Follow traffic laws, company policies, and all required safety procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service at each delivery location.
• Assist with package sorting, staging, loading, and unloading when needed.
• Protect customer information and company property.
• Meet productivity, safety, and delivery performance expectations.
• Perform other delivery and general logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, when driving is required.
• Previous delivery, logistics, transportation, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving and package-handling practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow routes, schedules, and written or verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using GPS, smartphones, and delivery applications.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move packages and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a delivery team.
• Ability to work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Professional and courteous attitude.

Schedule

• Full-time or Part-time
• Schedule may vary based on delivery volume and business needs.
• Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime may be required.
