Delivery Associate – DYH1 Dartmouth, Canada (Starting Pay $24.45/hr.+)

Shifts: Morning, weekday and weekend
Location: DYH1 - Dartmouth -180 Thornhill drive, Dartmouth, B3B 1V3, NS, Canada

Compensation & Benefits

· Paid 2-day training

· Paid Time Off

· Deliver 200-250 packages per day

· Expect to work 4-6 days per week and up to 10 hours per day

· Overtime available in peak seasons

· Bonus available for full-time employees in peak seasons if eligible

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license
• Must be able to operate and navigate ford transit van.
• Must have a clean background check
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be available and physically able to work a maximum of 10 hours in a day
• Must be comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers

• Do you have any experience driving large commercial vehicles? If so, how long?

• This role requires its Driver Driver to work outdoors in all seasons. Are you okay with it?

• Can you lift up to 50lbs?

• Do you have your own reliable transportation to work?

• Are you comfortable with technology, i.e. operating iPhone/Android apps and reading maps?

• This role requires repetitive stepping in and out of the van throughout the day. Are you okay with that?

• Currently M.P Group of Companies runs on a 7 day a week schedule; where Drivers will need to be flexible on a variety of workdays, i.e. there is not a set weekly schedule. Are you open to that type of work schedule?

• Currently, Drivers are on full time (5-6 days) schedule. Does this works best for you?

• The Driver role requires a 7-10 year background check (Criminal and Motor Vehicle). Are you okay with that?
