Delivery Associate

Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles as well as adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Load and unload packages using heavy lifting techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods to ensure secure transport
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules
• Deliver packages directly to customers’ homes or businesses with professionalism and a friendly attitude
• Verify recipient information, obtain signatures when required, and handle any delivery exceptions or issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route logs for accountability and reporting purposes
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving goods within storage areas, or preparing shipments for dispatch

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with a strong focus on route driving efficiency
• Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and resolve concerns effectively
• Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles with automatic transmission is preferred
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly while maintaining proper safety techniques
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries accurately and efficiently

Pay: From $22.25 per hour
