What You’ll Do:

As a Delivery Driver, you’ll drive a branded vehicle, delivering 200-300 packages per day. You will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering hundreds of smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more. You can expect to work 4-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day.

What You’ll Need:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• 3 year clean driving record is required
• Must be able to clear a background check, CLEAN RECORD REQUIRED (i.e. no felonies, misdemeanors or DUI's)
• Must be able to pass extensive 7 year background check
• Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment
• Must be reliable and available to work up to 10 hours a day.
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs. consistently, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must complete a 4-panel drug screening

Health and safety are always a top priority for MJAD and the Delivery Service Partners. In partnership with one another, MJAD and the DSPs continue to consult with medical and health experts, and take all recommended precautions to keep everyone healthy.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles such as vans and box trucks in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
• Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Execute route driving efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery times and optimizing routes for maximum productivity
• Manually handle heavy lifting tasks while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring accurate deliveries, addressing customer questions professionally, and maintaining a positive attitude
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards including DOT regulations
• Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmations, and communication with dispatch or team members

Experience

• Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience, including commercial truck or van driving, is highly valued
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar tools is a plus
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
• Demonstrated ability to lift heavy packages safely and consistently follow manual handling safety protocols
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus
• Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT standards, and workplace safety policies

Pay: $23.25 - $24.25 per hour
