What they need

Job Overview And Responsibility:
As Project Manager - you run delivery for one cross-functional game team: Game Designers, Developers, Artists and Testers working toward shared milestones.
Like a PM, you are the team's single coordination channel to the rest of the business. You plan the work, hold scope and schedule, and are responsible for what the team commits to land on time and in scope. You do not replace the team's discipline leads. Each discipline owns how its craft is done. What you own is that the team works as one: one plan, one board, one view of risk, and every dependency chased to a close.
What You'll Do:

  • Plan the Work: Break scope into milestones and tasks with the discipline leads. Estimate with them, sequence the handoffs across design, development, art and QA, and agree the plan the team will be held to. Run it Agile or waterfall, whichever the project needs.
  • Drive Execution: Run the team's delivery cadence: planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives. Track progress daily and weekly, and keep the team focused on what was committed.
  • Hold Scope and Change: Every change to scope or date goes through you, with its impact on time and effort stated before it is accepted. Nothing is absorbed silently.
  • Keep Work Visible: Keep the team's Jira board accurate and current, including progress, hours and blockers. Submit the daily report by 19:00 and draft the Project Weekly and Games Weekly reports, so everyone works from a single source of truth.
  • Own Dependencies and Partners: Raise and track requests to shared services such as QC, Release and other support teams, and work with other development leaders where the team depends on them. A request you raise is yours until it is closed, not until it is submitted.
  • Surface Risks Early: Monitor the team's delivery health, build contingency plans before they are needed, and resolve bottlenecks while they are still small. Hold a blocker while it is yours to solve, then hand it up to your Manager with what you already tried. A committed date at risk goes up the same working day.
  • Build the Team's Way of Working: Help new team members get productive quickly, improve how the team plans and hands off work, and keep the process light enough that it helps rather than slows the team.
What Success Looks Like (First 3 to 6 Months):
  • The team works from one plan and one board, and anyone can read its status without asking.
  • Committed milestones land on time and in scope, or the slip is flagged early with a recovery option.
  • Scope changes arrive with their impact stated, never discovered after the fact.
  • Dependencies and shared-service requests close out without being chased from above.
  • Discipline leads and partner teams treat you as the single point of coordination and trust that things will be handled.
    Must-Have Skills and Experience:
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in software or game-development projects, including at least 1 year running delivery for a cross-functional team as a Project Manager, Scrum Master or Delivery Coordinator.
  • Project Craft: Solid command of planning and estimation, scope and change control, and risk and issue management. Hands-on experience in both Agile (Scrum or Kanban) and waterfall environments.
  • Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of the SDLC and enough architecture awareness to follow a technical discussion, challenge an estimate, and restate a technical issue clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: You have kept designers, developers, artists and testers aligned on one plan, and you know where handoffs between them usually break.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong negotiation and presentation skills. You hold commitments from people you do not manage and keep your Manager correctly informed without being chased.
  • Composure: You handle multiple deadlines and pressure with professionalism, and you solve problems creatively rather than escalating everything.
  • Tools: Confident in Jira or an equivalent, and in keeping board data trustworthy.
  • Communication: Good English, written and spoken. A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
    Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
  • Experience in the game development industry, and familiarity with a game production lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of, or hands-on experience in, Game UX or UI.
  • Experience in a startup or game company, comfortable with ambiguity.
  • A recognised project-management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or a Scrum credential).
  • Exposure to languages such as Java, NodeJS, ReactJS, JavaScript or C++ is a strong plus.
    Reporting To:
  • Delivery Director
    Interview Process:
  • Tech Interview -> HR Interview
    Benefits:
  • MacBook and additional working-support devices provided on demand.
  • 100% salary in probation + Competitive long-term salary package + performance bonus.
  • 13th-month salary + Lì xì + Review performance and salary every release milestone.
  • Company trip + Monthly Team building + birthday bonus + Snacks and drinks lounge.
  • Sport clubs (Console, Badminton, Soccer, Archery, ...).
    * Relocation allowance (if applicable):
  • Visa & Work Permit
  • Vé máy bay (6 tháng/lần)
  • Accomodation
  • Living Allowance
  • Onsite Incentive
  • Tet Holiday/Nghỉ về Việt Nam!: remote working 1 tuần
