Position Summary

Casa Bliss is seeking a friendly, dependable, and safety-conscious Delivery Driver / Budtender to join our team. This hybrid position combines cannabis delivery services with in-store budtender responsibilities.

During scheduled delivery periods, the employee will safely and efficiently deliver customer orders while providing professional, discreet service. When there are no active deliveries, the employee will return to Casa Bliss and assist customers and coworkers with regular budtender and store duties.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Duties

• Safely deliver customer orders within the assigned service area.
• Verify customer identity, age, and order information according to applicable laws and company policies.
• Collect and accurately process payments when required.
• Maintain professional, friendly, and discreet communication with customers.
• Follow assigned routes and communicate delays or delivery issues promptly.
• Protect all products, payments, customer information, and company property.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and comply with inventory-tracking procedures.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and cannabis transportation regulations.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Return to Casa Bliss promptly after completing assigned deliveries.

Budtender and Store Duties

• Welcome customers and provide attentive, knowledgeable service.
• Help customers select products based on their preferences, experience, and desired effects without making medical claims.
• Explain product types, potency, proper use, responsible consumption, and storage.
• Verify identification and ensure every sale complies with legal requirements.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash and electronic payments.
• Restock merchandise and maintain clean, organized product displays.
• Assist with inventory counts, order preparation, packaging, and labeling.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the sales floor, counters, and work areas.
• Follow all security, confidentiality, sanitation, and loss-prevention procedures.
• Support coworkers and complete other reasonable store duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must meet the minimum legal age required to work in the cannabis industry in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass any background checks or obtain any licenses, permits, or registrations required by law.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, honest, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to handle cash and complete transactions accurately.
• Basic technology skills, including comfort using navigation and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous delivery, retail, hospitality, or cannabis-industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cannabis products is helpful; training may be provided.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to stand and walk during in-store portions of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach.
• Ability to work in varying weather and road conditions.

Important Expectations

The person hired for this position must be flexible throughout each shift. Delivery demand may change, and the employee will be expected to transition smoothly between driving and in-store responsibilities. All work must be completed in accordance with Casa Bliss policies and applicable local and state cannabis laws.
