Duties

• Safely operate automobiles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adjusting as needed for traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise using safe lifting practices, often involving heavy lifting and merchandising tasks.
• Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and upselling additional products or services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including pricing details, invoices, and delivery logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance is performed regularly to keep vehicles in top condition and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving or retail store delivery roles is preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling pricing, measurements, and inventory counts.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices..
• Experience in upselling or sales can enhance customer interactions and overall performance.

Pay: $17.00 - $30.74 per hour
