Responsibilities of Delivery Driver

• Drive company vans and other assigned vehicles to pick up and deliver stocks and supplies to designated store branches according to the established delivery schedule.
• Assist in the safe loading and unloading of delivery items at designated store branches.
• Ensure that company vehicles are kept clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and coordinate scheduled maintenance as needed.
• Immediately report any vehicle issues, damage, or maintenance concerns to the manager.
• Assist with office and commissary-related tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Highschool or Vocational diploma. College level applicants are very much preferred.

• Must have a valid professional driver’s license (1,2, 3 restriction) with at least 2-year experience driving a transport van, truck, or bus

• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of road signs, road markings, traffic rules, and regulations.

• Demonstrates safe and responsible driving habits.

• Must have good vision and hearing ability.

• Good oral and written communication skills in both Filipino and English.

• Familiar with locations and major routes within NCR and CALABARZON.

• Willing to travel to different branches of TOJ (Taste of Joy).

• Hardworking, trustworthy, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrates initiative and a strong sense of responsibility in completing assigned tasks.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays, and render overtime when necessary.
