Responsibilities

• Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver goods across designated routes
• Follow planned delivery routes accurately while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns professionally
• Manage loading and unloading of merchandise, utilizing safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals
• Organize deliveries efficiently by planning routes and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation preferred; retail store experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of route driving, merchandising, and client communication techniques
• Basic math skills for pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory management
• Demonstrated ability to build positive customer relationships through excellent service skills
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and heavy lifting techniques required for handling merchandise
• Proven organizational skills to manage deliveries effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients seamlessly

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 per week
