Delivery Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking Delivery Drivers. A Delivery Driver will be responsible for loading, unload, and setting up furniture, bedding and appliances. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle (26 foot box truck) to transport and assemble product to designated locations
• Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as by two wheeled dolly, by hand, or shoulder dolly
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before leaving the warehouse
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading products
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize deliveries effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Commercial driving experience is preferred but not required

Pay: $46,840.81 - $56,410.44 per year
