Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products to retail stores, clients, and distribution centers.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using route driving skills to maximize productivity and punctuality.
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise with safe lifting practices, often involving heavy lifting.
• Communicate effectively with clients to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build positive relationships.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including route logs, delivery receipts, and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• Conduct merchandising activities at retail locations to ensure proper product placement and presentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving, automobile transportation, or retail store delivery roles.
• Strong knowledge of driving safety regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and route planning.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently within tight schedules.
• Prior experience in sales or upselling is a plus to maximize customer engagement.

Pay: $11.00 - $22.00 per hour
