Based at Powburn, Northumberland.

This job is 1+ days a week.

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver who is physically fit to join our team, as you must have the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to customers in a timely and efficient manner. We mainly transport Garden Machinery, which typically consists of Garden Tractors, Pedestrian Mower and other associated products. You will need to be able to communicate with customers effectively. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and providing excellent customer service.

Must be over 23 years old for insurance purposes.

Duties

• Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers

• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle

• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided

• Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time

• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner

• Collect payments from customers, if required

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or malfunctions

Your Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Trailer experience is required

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role

• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

• Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
