Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles including sprinter trucks , cargo vans , and mini vans adhering strictly and safe lifting practices.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure prompt service while maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise with care, demonstrating heavy lifting techniques and proper merchandising practices.
• Engage with customers professionally, building strong relationships through clear communication and attentive service.
• Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and route logs for organizational purposes.
• Comply with all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, sales techniques, and upselling methods to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Excellent math skills for calculating delivery loads, change handling, and route planning.
• Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices; physically fit for demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with retail store operations or merchandising is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to details.
