Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols
• Plan efficient delivery routes using organizational skills to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
• Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, ensuring heavy lifting safety practices are followed at all times
• Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, building positive relationships through professional client communication
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, route logs, and inventory movements for accountability and reporting purposes

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math for accurate billing and transaction handling
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices
• Retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation
• Demonstrated ability to build lasting customer relationships through friendly service and professionalism
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards essential for compliance in commercial driving roles
• Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deliveries seamlessly
• Experience in sales or upselling techniques to promote additional products or services effectively

Pay: $25.77 - $31.04 per hour
