Delivery Driver

Overview

We are a third party company partnered with Amazon to deliver packages. We're seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will have excellent route-driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers and clients across designated routes.
• Follow planned routes accurately, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal efficiency.
• Verify delivery orders for accuracy and completeness before departure.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safety and compliance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to ensure safety and professionalism at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in route driving or delivery services preferred. Not required
• Excellent navigation skills with familiarity using GPS devices or mapping software.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical stamina for lifting, loading, and unloading packages as needed.
