Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products across designated routes.
• Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices to ensure compliance and safety on every trip.
• Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Engage with customers professionally, building rapport through clear communication and excellent service.
• Conduct heavy lifting and merchandise handling with proper techniques to prevent injury and ensure product integrity.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records to support smooth operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation.
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations, basic math tasks, and accurate measurement of deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team coordination, and adherence to customer relationship building standards.
• Knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising, and sales techniques to enhance customer engagement.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and organizational skills for efficient route management.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safety protocols; physically fit to handle demanding tasks.
• Experience in customer service roles with a focus on client communication and problem-solving abilities.
