Delivery Driver

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed

Location: Broussard, LA

Pay: $16–$20/hour

About The Position At Total Tire Solutions, backed by True North Fleet Services, we are looking for a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently. This position is responsible for safely delivering products to customers while providing professional and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers.
• Load, secure, and unload products while preventing damage.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service at each delivery.
• Verify orders and obtain required signatures or delivery confirmations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations, when applicable.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
• Assist with warehouse or other duties when needed. o Prepping stock
• Stacking tires oUse forklift to organize inventory
• Receive material coming in from vendors
• Operate inventory control equipment (handheld, tablet, etc)

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 75lbs. and repeatedly load/unload products.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Good communication and customerservice skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to use a smartphone or mobile delivery/route applications.
• Must be able to pass any required background, driving record, or preemployment screening.
