Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrival at each destination.
• Load and unload merchandise, often requiring heavy lifting and proper merchandising techniques.
• Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, building positive relationships through professional interaction.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and route details for organizational purposes.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals.
• Follow all safety protocols related to automobile transportation, heavy lifting, and driving regulations to ensure a secure working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or retail store delivery roles.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math skills for handling transactions or measurements.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations governing commercial truck driving and transportation safety standards.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience in merchandising or sales to promote products effectively during deliveries.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 40.0 per week
