Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination while managing multiple stops throughout the day.
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques, ensuring product safety during transportation.
• Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, answer questions about products or services, and build strong customer relationships through friendly interactions.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while organizing deliveries for maximum efficiency.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure safe operations at all times.
• Proven ability in retail store experience or customer service roles that involve client communication and relationship building.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices; comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
• Organizational skills to manage schedules efficiently and keep detailed records of deliveries.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
