DELIVERY DRIVER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join the team at ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers across the region. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our warehousing, storage and distribution network. You will be the face of our company, representing our commitment to excellence in every delivery you make.

What you'll be doing

• Operating delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety policies
• Loading and securing cargo to ensure goods arrive in perfect condition
• Planning and executing efficient delivery routes to maximise productivity and minimise fuel consumption
• Collecting payments or obtaining signatures from customers upon delivery
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and documenting any discrepancies or damage to goods
• Communicating proactively with customers to confirm delivery times and address any concerns
• Performing regular vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues immediately
• Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and well-organised at all times
• Meeting daily, weekly and monthly delivery targets consistently
• Handling customer enquiries professionally and resolving delivery-related issues promptly

What we're looking for

• Valid Professional Driver's License (PDL) or higher, with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver in the warehousing, storage or distribution sector
• Strong knowledge of traffic rules, safety regulations and road navigation
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet tight delivery schedules
• Physical capability to load, unload and handle goods of varying weights
• Reliable communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
• Mechanical aptitude to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with GPS systems and digital delivery tracking tools is preferred
• High level of integrity and responsibility, particularly when handling customer goods and payments
