Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
• Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks
• Deliver products directly to customers’ locations while providing exceptional customer service and building positive client relationships
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, and client interactions
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to confirm delivery times, address issues, or provide updates on delivery status

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation preferred; familiarity with commercial truck driving is a plus
• Proven ability to build rapport with customers through excellent communication skills and client communication expertise
• Knowledge of DOT regulations ensures safe driving practices and compliance with legal standards
• Demonstrated organizational skills for route planning, scheduling, and managing delivery documentation
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
